Exactly what you do want
Once upon a time not so long ago I found myself at a crossroads of whether or not to continue on as I was… struggling in my 17 year career as a health and wellness professional… or to part ways and figure out just what the heck I was supposed to do when I grew up.
I mean isn’t that the age old question these day?
What the heck am I supposed to do with my life?
How many of you have been there and done that? Maybe even wrote the book?
AND how many of you are just getting there now? Or maybe it’s even that you’ve been here for quite some time already.
AND how many of you are lost and struggling just trying to keep your head above water and make your way onto dry land?
Holy shit!
AM I right, though? Isn’t that how it feels at times?
Like you are drowning in a sea of ridiculous amounts of sewage always being spewed your way?
It’s freaking RIDICULOUS the amount of crap we deal with on a daily basis.
Like one day we are floating high above the clouds without a care in the world and then next we are drowning in so much of our own bullshit that we can’t see two inches in front of us while we are screaming out for help although no one can hear us.
Or at least that is how it seems to us while we are in the deep of it.
So what is one to do in this situation?
You sit tight and enjoy the ride.
SAY WHAT?
But that is just RIDICULOUS. Yes. My word of the day. 😉
But sit tight and let me explain.
How often are you put in a situation like this and you struggle for dear life for anything?
Grasping at straws and wallowing in your self-pity along the way.
I’m not good enough.
I can’t believe I let myself think I could actually do this.
I’m a failure.
I suck at this.
I’ll never be any good at this.
This will never work.
Nothing I do ever works.
My life sucks.
I don’t want to do this anymore.
Sound familiar to anyone out there?
WELL YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
Let me remind you once again… for I’m sure you’ve heard this before.
What you think and believe is what you will get out of life.
The kicker here is it doesn’t matter if you are saying it out of frustration.
What you say in any situation is exactly what you will get out of life.
As above, so below… right?
You will always get more of what you put out there.
So what is it EXACTLY that you want to get back?
Unworthiness?
Failure?
Lack?
Fear?
Why don’t we take a few minutes to get clear on WHAT EXACTLY YOU DO WANT.
I mean you’ve already had enough of what you DON’T WANT, correct?
So what if you took 10 minutes TODAY to get crystal clear on what you do want.
TODAY.
NOW.
Consider this your inspired action for today.
